About this experience
In our journey, we will see Kazakhstan from different perspectives: be inspired by the original architecture and visit an eco-park, explore traditional ornaments and historical landmarks, take a stroll in the city of fountains and greenery, and head to the main natural location of the republic. We will start the tour in modern Astana, then take a high-speed train to Almaty. We will look at the cities from observation decks and heights, see the world's highest mountain skating rink and immerse ourselves in the local atmosphere at the bazaar. The highlight of the tour is the Charyn Canyon and the 'Valley of Castles'. We will feel like on another planet and have a picnic in nature.
Organizational Details
We do not recommend bringing children under 12 years old on a group tour, as the pace of the trip is quite high, excursions are intense, and the material presentation is aimed at an adult audience. In addition, children can delay the entire group, affecting the planned schedule of excursions.
For trips with young children, we recommend an individual format and will be happy to tailor a route that will be interesting to all family members. Moreover, individual excursions can be adjusted on the spot.
Citizens of the Russian Federation can cross the border with Kazakhstan using either a Russian passport or an international one. Children under 14 years old can use a birth certificate. Citizens of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Mongolia can take advantage of the 90-day visa-free stay in the country.
Officially, payments for purchases and services in Kazakhstan are allowed only in tenge. By paying in Russian rubles, euros, and US dollars, you do so at your own risk. It is much more convenient to take care of cash exchange in advance, fortunately it can be easily done here. Numerous bank branches and exchange offices often operate around the clock. In addition, there are quite a large number of ATMs in major cities. Payment by bank cards is accepted in the vast majority of shopping centers and hotels.
