About this experience
Jeddah is the second largest city in Saudi Arabia after the capital. We will help you discover it from different angles. In the historic district of Al-Balad, you will admire houses made of coral limestone and wooden carved balconies. And the modern part of the city will be remembered for its well-kept waterfront, skyscrapers, and the royal fountain.
What to Expect
Walk through the Old Town of Al-Balad
I will show you the main places of the historical center: majestic gates, the tea magnate's house, the 13th-century Al-Shafi Mosque, Nasif's merchant house, and the residence of the country's first king. Furthermore, we will admire the picturesque lake with an unusual name '40', stroll through the colorful eastern bazaar, and optionally visit an authentic cafe where you can enjoy Saudi coffee and dates.
Art, Floating Mosque, and Royal Fountain
You will visit the beautiful Museum of Islamic Art - it will immerse you in the history of Arab civilizations and show how religion influenced the culture of eastern peoples. You will walk along the Red Sea and peek into the yacht club, next to which is the famous floating mosque. Finally, you will visit the popular Corniche waterfront and admire the magnificent fountain of King Fahad.
