About this experience
Welcome to an exciting journey through Thailand's Khao Wong and Khao Cha Mao national parks! Located just 120 km from Pattaya, these untouched primal jungles, underground rivers, monkeys swinging on vines, labyrinth of karst caves, and cascading emerald waterfalls are just a glimpse of what you'll experience on our excursion!
What to Expect
Khao Wong
First, we will visit the Khao Wong national park, home to an ancient cave Buddhist monastery. A Buddha statue formed inside from stalactites grants any wishes. You'll be able to make a secret wish, feed the local monkeys that abound here, and if you're lucky, spot giant monitor lizards.
The journey continues to caves filled with a multitude of bats. Passing through the ancient stalagmites and stalactites, we'll find ourselves amidst the untouched nature of Thai jungles. Get ready for unforgettable experiences!
Khao Cha Mao
After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll head to the incredibly beautiful and forever full 8-level waterfall Khao Cha Mao with its pure emerald pool of cool water. On the upper levels of the waterfall, you'll immerse in a relaxing atmosphere with the sound of flowing water streams, while on the lower levels, you can feed giant fish.
Detailed Itinerary
07:30 - Departure from Pattaya.
07:30-9:00 - 125 km journey to Khao Wong national park. On the way, we'll stop at a cafe serving excellent breakfasts for only 50-100 bahts, and by the pool entrance, a giant arapaima fish swims.
9:00 - Cave monastery.
10:00 - Journey through the karst cave labyrinth to the "Lost World".
12:00-12.30 - Transfer to Khao Cha Mao.
12:30-13:00 - Lunch in the jungles.
13:00 - Relax at the 8-level waterfall Khao Cha Mao, swimming in the natural pool with carp.
17:00 - Departure to Pattaya.
Organizational Details
- Included: transfer in a comfortable 12-seat minivan, professional Russian-speaking guide, delicious jungle lunch, all entrance tickets and fees. Breakfast on the way is paid separately (optional).
- Program may be adjusted due to weather conditions.
- Tour suitable for adults and children from 7 years old.
- Bring your passport or its copy, money for personal expenses, breakfast from the hotel, headgear, swimwear and towel. Boots are provided before entering the cave for your comfort and hygiene, so we also recommend bringing socks.
