About this experience
Looking to add some adventure to your beach vacation in Bali? The perfect place for an adventurous journey is Mount Batur! You will conquer the roads made of frozen lava, pass through the best photo stops, bathe in hot springs overlooking a sacred lake, visit an authentic market, see rice terraces, and a waterfall straight from Balinese postcards. I will ensure your comfort and safety and fill the day with stories about Bali's traditions and nature.
What to Expect
Off-Roading on Jeeps through Volcanic Landscapes
The main goal of this eventful day is to visit Mount Batur, in the beautiful mountains of Bali. Our journey through its old caldera (crater formed from the volcano's collapse) will be adorned with unforgettable landscapes of the Kintamani region. I will drive you through the frozen lava that flowed down Batu's slopes for centuries.
Hot Springs, Rice Terraces, and Civet Coffee
This area of Bali will offer many more adventures and impressions. After exploring the volcano, you will relax in thermal springs overlooking the world's largest crater lake, Lake Batur. Additionally, you will admire the emerald rice terraces in the village of Tegallalang, visit a tropical plantation to taste different varieties of Balinese tea and coffee (including the famous civet coffee). Finally, we will visit the Tegenungan Waterfall, surrounded by jungles.
On the way back home, if desired, we can stop by the artisans village, where wooden and stone crafts, as well as gold and silver jewelry, are made.
