It was on Istiklal Street that General Slastchev-Krymsky and Baron Wrangel met, and here the White Guard died. I will take you to the most picturesque corners of the Beyoglu district and tell you the sad fate of the 'white emigration'. You will meet the magnificent Pera and see the semi-basement shops where cockroach races were held.

Trade, diplomatic, revolutionary
Another face of Istiklal is the street that represented all the interests of Europe in the Ottoman Empire. We will pass by the buildings of the consulates of the great powers, recall the history of the Russian Empire embassy, and talk about the Ataturk monument in Taksim Square. You will visit churches and Armenian churches, stunning Greek and French passages, and even see the hotel where Agatha Christie once stayed.

Scenic panoramas
We will see an interesting architectural style that has become a classic of merchant Istanbul. You will have a view of the most beautiful panorama of the end of the Golden Horn. If desired, you can take a cable car to the old aristocratic district of Nisantasi.
