What to Expect
Highlights of Istanbul
From the airport, we will head straight to Taksim Square, where the main events of the country's political life take place. We will stroll down Istiklal Street, where Catholic churches and historic mosques peacefully coexist with vibrant bars. We will also admire one of the city's symbols - the Galata Tower, built in the 14th century by the Genoese. Next, we will go to the old center of Constantinople: there you will see the Hagia Sophia Cathedral, the Hippodrome square, the Egyptian Obelisk, and the Serpentine Column.
Greek Quarter and Camlica Hill
If time allows, we will not limit ourselves to the classical attractions and head to the Asian part of Istanbul. We will stroll through the colorful Greek Quarter and discuss its ancient history. Finally, we will climb one of the highest hills in the city - Camlica Hill. After enjoying the panoramic view of Istanbul from above, we will return back to the airport.
