Istanbul mesmerizes with the scale of history, colorful vibes, and diversity. For those who have already explored the city center, I invite you to see more. Get ready to visit the new breathtaking Camlica Mosque; the defensive walls of Constantinople; the vibrant and characteristic neighborhood of Balat. And on the way, I promise to share stories about the city's life and give you Istanbul tips.
What to Expect
Istanbul Beyond the Guidebook
My route and car-format tour will allow us to cover interesting spots of Istanbul that you wouldn't see just by wandering around the city.
- In the Asian part of Istanbul, on a high hill, you will admire the pristine Camlica Mosque. Opened in 2019, it accommodates up to 65,000 worshippers. From the observation deck near the mosque, you will enjoy the panorama of both daytime and evening Istanbul, the Bosphorus, the Princes' Islands, and densely populated areas.
- Next, we will head to the millennia-old walls of Constantinople, and along the way, we will explore Balat, an ancient neighborhood of orthodox Turks. Today it is experiencing a colorful revival, with its multicolored houses and stylish cafes.
- Another goal of ours is to make a wish. For this, I will take you to the tiny Church of One Day. You will make a wish with a key that you will take with you - when your wish comes true, you must return the key to help someone else!
Capture the Spirit of Istanbul
I will do my best to make this possible for you. En route between the sights, I will intriguingly and clearly tell you about the Turkish people and their vibrant traditions, the intertwining of so many civilizations in the ancient city, and the amazing details of history. And of course, you will learn about modern life in Istanbul and receive useful life hacks - where to go, what to avoid, and what and where to try from the national cuisine.
