About this experience
We invite you to explore the mountainous Mangystau region, known for its curious landscapes and fantastic views! You will admire the layered Sherkala mountain, stroll through the Ayraqty-Shomanay valley with cliffy mountains, and hike through the winding paths of the alien-like Ybyk canyon. And we will share the history and natural features of these places.
What to Expect
Sherkala Mountain. You will contemplate this gigantic standalone mountain resembling a fortress. It seems like it grew straight out of the sand. We will tell you how it actually formed and show it from the most favorable angles.
Ayraqty-Shomanay Valley. Locals call it the 'Valley of Castles'. It looks like an ancient desert fairytale city with spires and towers. All this magic was created by the wind and centuries.
Ybyk Canyon. It reminds some of porous chocolate, others of lacework. This place impresses everyone! You will hike along the canyon's paths, enjoying the alien-like landscapes.

- The excursion is suitable for adults and children from 6 years old
- The remaining cost of the tour is to be paid on the day of the tour only in tenge. The tenge amount is fixed based on the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan's current exchange rate on the day of order confirmation, which we will inform you about in the correspondence.
