At any time of the year, in the sun or rain, the Milan Cathedral will captivate you at first sight. Join me to get to know it better: in two hours you'll unravel the Duomo's past, examine its architectural elements and stained glass windows, hear about legends, learn about relics - and understand the cathedral's global significance.
What to expect
Cathedral from all sides
First and foremost, you will, of course, examine the facade of the cathedral, listening to stories about its construction - it took seven centuries! Inside the Duomo, you will gradually get acquainted with every detail of this grand masterpiece: stained glass windows, Borromeo quadrons (a series of paintings), the main altar, and the most famous statue of the cathedral. Columns, sacred relics, the baptistery, sundials, frescoes - inch by inch, the Duomo can be studied for years, but we will manage to cover all the key points.
Chronicles, secrets, and interesting facts
If you look at the cathedral from a height, it will remind you of a Catholic cross. Do you know how many statues adorn the facade, spires, and interior spaces? During the excursion, historical information will be accompanied by interesting notes about the Duomo, from the secrets of its walls to the peculiarities of its organs, and we will separately talk about the legends surrounding the Milan Cathedral.
If desired by the group and by prior arrangement, it is possible to additionally visit the basement and roof of the cathedral.

- Entrance tickets to the roof and underground are paid separately. For the tour, a duomo + museum ticket for 8 euros is sufficient. If you want to visit the terraces and basements on your own after the tour, choose tickets for 15-20 euros.
