This is how your acquaintance with Milan will be! During the walk, you will discover all its facets: see the iconic sights, soak up the atmosphere. And you will love the city as the locals do.
What to expect
You will see:
- Milan Cathedral. Duomo - the symbol of the city and all of Lombardy, preserving many hidden secrets that I will reveal to you
- Street and Trade Square. Medieval buildings will remind you that Milan was once the state of Mediolanum
- Palace of the Jurisconsults - an elegant palace, the first stock exchange in Italy
- Sforza Castle. You will see - castles where dukes and princesses reside are not only in fairy tales. And you will step into the role of important figures yourself
- La Scala Square. We will admire the theater building and discuss why in Milan Italian bel canto has become an integral part of Italians' lives
And I will also tell you what impression of Milan was left by Russian poets who dedicated their works to it. I will share proverbs and statements about the city. I will explain why and how they appeared among Milanese - and why Italians often mention them.
