What to Expect
Larnaca and Kato Drys Village
We will visit the picturesque Cypriot village of Kato Drys: explore the museum of traditional rural life and immerse ourselves in the local laid-back atmosphere. Then we will head to the resort city of Larnaca, which has been rapidly developing in recent years. We will walk along the famous Finikoudes promenade, see the medieval castle, and visit the Church of Saint Lazarus. In the vicinity of the city, you will find the ancient mosque Hala Sultan Tekke and the Salt Lakes, where pink flamingos often fly.
Ayia Napa, Famagusta, and Cape Greco Park
In Ayia Napa, we will visit the ancient monastery of Agia Napa with a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary and a holy spring. Without lingering in the city, we will head to Cape Greco National Park, where you can swim in the crystal-clear water, admire the sea caves, the Love Arch, and the largest natural bridge on the island. The journey will conclude with the ghost town of Famagusta, reminiscent of the 1974 war.
