About this experience
Join us on a journey to the ancient picturesque cities of Central Portugal. You will admire the canals with colorful boats in Aveiro, delve into the history of one of the oldest universities in Europe in Coimbra, and unravel the mysteries of the Templar Order in Tomar. We will make sure that the trip is fun, informative, and comfortable for you.
What to Expect
The 'City of Canals' Aveiro. You will walk along picturesque canals, admiring traditional moliceiro boats and modernist architecture. You will also see the famous striped houses of Costa Nova. We will share the history of the city and its role in trade and fishing.
The 'Forever Young' Coimbra. You will stroll through the narrow streets of the city and along the Mondego River embankment. You will see one of the oldest universities in Europe and students in robes, as if they came from the pages of 'Harry Potter'. You will visit the tomb of the first Portuguese king and learn about the history of Portuguese Romeo and Juliet.
The 'Capital of the Templars' Tomar. You will appreciate the Tomar Castle - a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. We will help decipher its symbols and signs. In addition, we will tell you the history of the Templar Order.
