About this experience
This trip is an immersion into a country untouched by tourist flow, with virginally beautiful nature and non-trivial routes. I will take you to places rich in various locations - turquoise reservoirs, hiking spots, national parks. You will enjoy the landscapes, see the real rural life of Laos, and taste it.
What to Expect
Kayaking Adventure. You will float on a 2-seater kayak along the shallow Nam Song River with a slow current. The 5 km route will suit even those who sit in a kayak for the first time. All participants will receive life jackets, the instructor will explain safety techniques and accompany you on the water journey. It will last 2 hours (including gathering and instruction). If you are not confident in your abilities, you can sit in one kayak with the instructor and simply enjoy the scenery.
Buggy Ride through the Countryside. During the excursion, this will be our mode of transport. We will move between locations on a buggy. No driver's license is required. The buggy travels at a speed of 30-40 km/h (it cannot accelerate any faster). You will immerse yourself in local life to the maximum. You will drive along picturesque country roads past houses of local residents, grazing cows, and playing children.
First Lagoon. Here you can try unusual street food, jump into turquoise water from a tower, or just swim. If necessary, you will be given life jackets.
Golden Crab Cave. Inside, there is a reclining Buddha. The climb to the cave will be steep but brief - no more than 10 minutes.
Nam Sai Peak. Here you will have a half-hour hike uphill. Our goal is an observation deck with a beautiful view of the Vang Vieng Valley. The ascent may seem difficult to physically unprepared people, so the peak can be excluded from the route at your request.
Second Lagoon. Here you will find towers, zip lines, and other water activities. This lagoon is less crowded than the first one, so swimming here is more comfortable. Also, in this location, you can have a calm and delicious lunch.
Getting to Know Laos. I will act as a kind of ambassador for the country, opening up Laos to you and changing stereotypes about it. We will talk about different aspects of life - briefly about history and a lot about modernity, cultural peculiarities of Laos people, language, traditions, and cuisine. Now is the best time to visit Laos while it has not yet been overrun by package tourists, and you can fully enjoy the country without crowds and queues!
