About this experience
On a motorbike, we will ride along a serpentine road overlooking the sea and mountain valleys, witnessing life in small villages where the appearance of a European is still a novelty. We will zoom past rice fields and avocado plantations, becoming spectators to the changing nature of Southern Vietnam as we gain elevation. Following Buddhist tradition, we will cleanse ourselves of sins at the Tu Van temple, and finally find ourselves at the foot of the magnificent mountain waterfall Ta Gu amidst the jungle idyll.
What to Expect
Coastal Drive
We will pick you up from your hotel in Nha Trang and head out of the city. The road will first lead along the coast on a small serpentine. Then we will encounter rice fields, remote villages, shrimp farms, breadfruit plantations, and coffee plantations. Along the way, we will make a stop to have traditional Vietnamese coffee. And indeed, you can ask the guide to stop wherever you like, as this is an individual tour.
Tu Van Temple and Cleansing
50 km from Nha Trang, we will make a stop at the Tu Van temple. It is interesting because the main pagoda is built of corals and shells, and nearby stands a labyrinth made of the same materials. It is called the Dragon Labyrinth. Illuminating the path with a smartphone flashlight, you will walk through it completely and thus cleanse yourself of sins (as Buddhist monks claim).
Ta Gu Waterfall
And here we are. Ta Gu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Khanh Hoa province. An amazingly beautiful place where you can escape civilization and swim in a mountain lake. The water cascades from a height of 40-45 meters, and then continues its calm flow. The end point of the journey is at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level. The air here is clean and cool, and you won't want to leave at all.
