What to Expect
The Whitest Symbol of the Emirates
The main goal of our journey will be a visit to the grand functioning Sheikh Zayed Mosque - the central landmark and architectural masterpiece in Abu Dhabi. Here, you will experience the luxury and richness of the Emirates, admiring graceful minarets resembling white pavilions, marble prayer halls, gemstone-encrusted walls, golden chandeliers, and the world's largest carpet. The minarets reflected in man-made lakes will transport you into the atmosphere of the tales of 'One Thousand and One Nights'.
Additionally, our program includes the splendid Presidential Palace Qasr Al Watan, built specifically for hosting delegations and heads of state. You will discover the most remarkable achievements of Arab civilization, marveling at the ornate halls of the palace, golden calligraphy, and gifts from the royal family.
Culture and Color of Abu Dhabi
In the Arab capital, you will explore all aspects of Emirates life - from its complicated history and unique culture to modern politics. You will drive along the main street of Abu Dhabi and the green corniche, visit the local date market.
At the beginning or at the end of the program, you will also visit the date market (20-30 minutes). You can taste and purchase dates and Arabic coffee.
Organizational Details
- Please note: Qasr Al Watan is a working palace and is often closed. If the palace is closed, we will visit Qasr Al Hosn - a historic fort in Abu Dhabi or a museum.
- Cost includes: transfer from the hotel and back, tickets to the Qasr Al Watan Palace.
- Surcharge for transfers from remote hotels + $15 per person (Lapita, Jebel Ali, Ibn Battuta, S Hotel, Sport City, JVT, JVC, Maktoum Airport, and others).
