About this experience
I invite you to a journey through the luxurious capital of the Emirates! I will show you the President's palace, the Etihad skyscraper complex, the gleaming Corniche waterfront, and the majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque. To understand what the country was like several decades ago, the Bedouin village and colorful Eastern markets will help you.
What to Expect
Abu Dhabi Yesterday and Today
Abu Dhabi is famous for its modern architecture and immense wealth, as 90% of the country's oil is extracted here. However, it was not always like this - you will see this by visiting the Bedouin village. I will tell you who the Bedouins are, how they lived 50 years ago, and whether they manage to preserve their habits today. The centuries-old traditions of the country will also be revealed to you at the vibrant and lively date market!
Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Other Iconic Places
We will definitely visit the main attraction of Abu Dhabi - the stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful in the world. You will learn when and by whose forces it was built and who was the initiator of the construction. I will also show you other 'landmarks' of the capital: the Etihad towers, the abandoned city from the movie 'Mad Max,' the picturesque waterfront, and the Emirates Palace presidential hotel.
