About the organizer
I have been living in Cape Town for 20 years, 14 of which I have been working in the tourism industry. By education, I am a lawyer (graduated from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University), I support the Russian Club in Cape Town, and coordinate a number of programs. I would gladly contribute to a conversation on: history (especially, of course, Russia and South Africa of any period), literature, philosophy and sociology, jurisprudence, mythology, astronomy, religion, navigation, cinematography, art, and architecture. In addition to standard programs, I can offer hiking trips in the mountains (relevant during peak season to avoid huge crowds of tourists, sometimes - the only opportunity to visit Table Mountain - 80 minutes up, 50 minutes down). Professionally, I am knowledgeable about diamonds and gold jewelry (had a jewelry store in Cape Town for 10 years).
