About the organizer
Hello, a few words about myself. My name is Nikos, born into a Greek family on the banks of the Kura River in Tbilisi. After finishing high school, I moved to study in Kyiv, a city I had been in love with since childhood (thanks to the great games of Kyiv's Dynamo football team). In my Soviet passport, it said 'Greek' under nationality, and the names of my brother and sister (Odysseus and Electra) along with the songs of Demis Roussos always reminded me of a distant fairytale land. And here I am, for over twenty years, on the land of my ancestors, the land where Herodotus and Thucydides, Socrates and Plato, Pericles and Alexander lived. Greece is not just mountains and seas, not just myths and legends, not just olives and wine. Greece is music to listen to, Greece is a painting to see, history to touch. Let's together listen, look, and feel the things we, Greeks, are proud of!
