Hello, I am Evgeny! By education, I am a historian, by profession - a journalist. The most important thing I was taught is to try to understand a person. The real history of any city is the history of ordinary people: it is important to understand what people in ancient times felt, what they hated and fought against. Dukes and merchants, bankers and cobblers, millers and emperors, men, women, and children - all who shaped history will become the heroes of our conversations. Here is the cradle of great kings and the refuge of great scholars. Here were born the greatest liars and glorious heroes. And we will try for a moment to feel what was on the minds of these people. I will reveal all aspects of medieval society. We will see stunning cities: Hannover, Goslar, Celle, Wernigerode, as well as Hildesheim, Marienburg, Braunschweig, Wolfenbüttel, and many other beautiful places.
