About the organizer
My name is Lazar. In 1997, I moved from St. Petersburg to Germany, which was still an independent state back then, unburdened by Europe's debts. Studying history, philosophy, and political science at the University of Rostock, I met people who had participated in events now studied in schools. Among them were the last white emigrants, former German soldiers who survived Soviet camps, and members of the 'Round Table' - an opposition movement in the GDR. On my tours, I introduce you to the spirit of Berlin and its role and significance in history. I enjoy unveiling the curtain of history over this amazing city and revealing Berlin from the most unexpected angles.
