About the organizer
I am a professional historian and a former university lecturer. I am a licensed tour guide from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Republic of Turkey. My specialties include classical history, architecture, culture, urbanism, social demography, classical and contemporary art. I have been living in Istanbul for over 10 years. I will be glad to share my knowledge and love for the city with those who want to understand Istanbul's complex and layered history, feel its colorful atmosphere, and not get bored :) Exploring Istanbul with me involves great humor, legends, vivid stories of modern life, beautiful views, and tasting traditional Turkish delicacies.
