About this experience
In a group of up to 30 people, you will visit one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the Andaman Sea. In just 1 day, you will see Thailand's deepest lagoon and Maya Bay from the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio. Enjoy snorkeling surrounded by coral reefs. And to wrap it up, relax on a deserted island: crystal clear waters, white sand, and monitor lizards strolling along the shore.
What to Expect
Coral reefs, white beaches, and mysterious caves
We will take a tour of the most beautiful archipelago in the Andaman Sea. You will visit several tropical islands, enjoy snorkeling among coral reefs, try fishing if you wish, and also see Thailand's deepest lagoon, Monkey Island, and a sacred cave.
Excursion Program
6:50 Transfer from the hotel.
7:50 Arrival at the pier, meet the guide, break for tea and coffee.
8:50 Departure from the pier to the islands.
9:50 Visit Maya Bay: coral reefs surrounded by impressive karst mountains. This is where the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed.
10:50 Visit Phi Ley Lagoon and swim. This gem of the Phi Phi archipelago is Thailand's deepest lagoon (20 meters). The water here is considered rejuvenating as it flows from a fracture formed millions of years ago.
11:30 Stop at Viking Cave, named for the rock paintings of sea vessels resembling longships. It is considered sacred among the locals.
11:50 Snorkeling in the open sea, swimming with masks.
12:30 Stop at Monkey Beach in Yong Kasem Bay.
12:50 Stop at Phi Phi Don Island, lunch at a restaurant.
13:10 Snorkeling near Phi Phi Don Island.
14:40 Stop at Bamboo Island, swim and relax on the beach. This deserted island features white sand, pine trees, and colorful coral reefs. If you're lucky, you might meet the island's inhabitants - monitor lizards leisurely strolling along the shore.
16:20 Arrival at Khai Island, beach break. Those interested can test their fishing skills.
17:50 Return to the pier, transfer to the hotel.
Organizational Details
- The tour will be conducted on a speedboat departing from the eastern pier of Phuket
- The price includes transfer, tour insurance, entrance tickets to National Park, snorkeling masks, lunch, drinks, and fruits onboard
- The tour is not recommended for pregnant women
- Bring sunscreen, hats, swimwear, and towels. Fins for swimming can be rented at the pier (300 baht) if desired
- Payment to the guide can be made in baht on the spot or through a transfer in rubles to a Russian card
