Who Lives at the Bottom of the Ocean, or Test Dive with Scuba Diving
About this experience
We organize dives in the beautiful place Bahía de las Rayas (Stingray Bay). As the name suggests, several species of friendly stingrays live here. They are not usually afraid of divers, so they often come close. Most of the seabed is covered with a volcanic reef. This is a favorite place for underwater animals and fish. A great location to learn the basics of diving!
What to Expect
- First of all - briefing (30 min). We use specially prepared video or conduct personal training. In both cases, you will understand everything, there is little difficulty!
- Then we provide each participant with a warm wetsuit and full equipment and descend into the water. Beginners are under the supervision of an instructor, in a maximum ratio of two to one, which ensures comfort and safety. This sets us apart from other schools, where one instructor may have up to 8 people.
- During the dive, you will see about 15 species of fish, stingrays, turtles, crabs, moray eels, octopuses, octopuses, shrimp, and many other ocean dwellers. Although stingrays are encountered every day, we cannot guarantee their appearance - it's wild nature!
Safety and Health
Statistics show that diving is very safe for beginners. It can be compared to a bike ride. Therefore, it is available for children 8+. Each participant will be insured. Diving is suitable for people in any physical shape. However, if you suffer from asthma, epilepsy, chronic heart diseases, take medications that prevent you from driving a car, cannot engage in sports for any other reason, consult your doctor for a certificate. Pregnant women are not recommended to dive.
