What to expect
Majestic Peles Castle
Recently, journalists included Peles in the list of the most impressive buildings in Europe. As you walk through its exquisite halls, you will see that they are right. The castle's windows are adorned with stained glass, and the chandeliers are made of Murano glass. In addition, you will see Eastern carpets, tapestries, and beautiful examples of painting, sculpture, and decorative art. I will tell you about the most famous inhabitants of the castle and the events that took place there.
Ancient Sinai Monastery
You will learn how the Sinai Monastery is connected to Jerusalem, the Sinai Peninsula, Romanian prince Michael Kantakuzin, and Russian Tsar Nicholas II. Additionally, I will reveal how many years its construction lasted, why exactly 12 monks should live in it, and whether it is truly the first church in Romania with electric lighting.
