About this experience
I invite you to a rich journey that combines centuries-old history and fantastic nature of Turkey. You will explore the ancient city of Sagalassos, where life once bustled and trade squares, streets, and baths were built one after another. You will also head to the mountains and relax at Lake Salda, as if taken from a colorful postcard.
What to expect
Sagalassos: time travel
You will see the main attractions of the ancient city: the central square, amphitheater, and the functioning Antoninus Fountain, built during the Roman Empire. Appreciate the surviving examples of intricate stone carving and ancient reliefs. Discover how Sagalassos is connected to Alexander the Great, in which era it flourished, and what put an end to its development.
Lake Salda – Turkish Maldives
Salda will enchant you with turquoise water, the purest sand, and fabulous views. I will reveal what useful minerals it contains, why the lake does not warm up even in strong heat, and what relation it has to Mars.
