Cappadocia is mesmerizing even in photos. But what is it like to see its otherworldly landscapes in the first rays of the sun from the air, from the colorful hot air balloon basket? Join us on a one-hour flight over the Soganli Valley and find out. The rocks of unusual shapes where early Christians carved out churches, vast expanses, and the huge balloon overhead — the sense of adventure is guaranteed!
You pay 50% of the cost on the website because I pre-book the spots on the balloon for you. The full payment is refundable only in the event of the balloons not taking off due to bad weather.
What to Expect
Comfort and Safety
Many hot air balloons take off almost daily year-round over the Cappadocia valleys. The ideal landscapes for flights and the microclimate allow the balloon to float very smoothly — there is nothing to be afraid of. In the basket with you will be three attendants, including professional pilots.
Our Plan
At 03:30–04:00 in the morning (in winter and autumn — at 05:30–06:30) we will pick you up from the hotel. Then — transfer to the site where you will see the balloon being inflated. After an exciting 75-minute sunrise flight, you will receive a certificate and return to the hotel in time for breakfast.
Organizational Details
Read before booking
- IMPORTANT: we accept payment from cards of any bank in Russia or a foreign bank. You pay 50% of the cost on the website because the spots on the balloon are pre-booked for you. The remaining 50% of the cost is to be paid no later than 24 hours before the flight (in cash or by bank transfer).
- The full cost is refundable only in the event of the balloons not taking off due to bad weather.
- The flight is confirmed or canceled due to weather conditions the evening before.
- Please confirm the availability of seats before payment. A 50% prepayment usually guarantees a spot on the balloon, but in Cappadocia, flight situations are complex, so force majeure events are possible.
- If you want to fly in a basket for 16 people, you need to book the flight at least 3 weeks before the planned date.
- The flight is not allowed for children under 6 years old and elderly people over 65 years old.
How the Flight Goes
- The flight lasts 60 minutes.
- You will be picked up from the hotel anywhere in Cappadocia and brought back afterwards. The exact time of the morning transfer will be informed to you the evening before the flight (approximately at 20:00–21:00).
- The driver and pilot do not speak Russian, but you can always contact us with any questions.
- How is the balloon controlled? 40% is the pilot, 60% is the wind. The main thing is your safety, so the pilot on site decides at what altitude to fly.
- Balloons in Cappadocia take off year-round. But when planning a trip, consider that the flight may be postponed to the next day due to weather conditions.
Transfer from/to the airport is available upon request: group — 8€ per person one way, individual — 45€ per car up to 4 people one way.
