About this experience
Just imagine: soft shades of sunrise, the rhythmic sounds of hooves, the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia - and no one around! During the horseback riding tour, you will find yourself in places where cars do not drive and people cannot walk. You will visit the village of Cavusin and see the famous valleys of Swords, Love, and Rose. And of course, you will make friends with the symbol of the Land of Beautiful Horses.
What to Expect
Horseback Riding in the Valleys of Cappadocia
After a brief instruction and introduction to the horses, you will set out to conquer the most impressive locations of Cappadocia at sunrise or sunset. The pace of the ride will allow you to see all the most interesting sights in a couple of hours, while also providing the opportunity to admire the views and make stops for photos. The main points of the route:
- Valley of Swords, located close to Goreme, near the open-air museum. You will ride 3 km among textured sharp rocks that resemble swords or sabers.
- Valley of Love - a must-see spot in Cappadocia. Here you will see giant mushroom-shaped rocks, sculpted by time and wind from tuff stone. And of course, one look at these landscapes is enough to decipher the meaning of the valley's name :)
- Cavusin - at first glance, an inconspicuous village. To uncover its secrets, we will ride deeper into the settlement: you will see a rock that resembles a Swiss cheese and has been a home for locals for centuries.
- Rose Valley, named after the bright, noble hue of the rocks. Here you will also find dozens of interesting perspectives for photos.
Organizational Details
- You will be picked up from your hotel and returned after the tour. The horseback ride itself will last 2 hours.
- Transfer from Goreme and Uchisar is included in the tour price. Transfer from Avanos, Urgup, Ortahisar, and Nevsehir - €15 for 1-6 people.
- You can choose to go on the tour at sunrise (6:00-8:00) or at sunset (16:30-18:30)
- The tour does not include a guide: you will have an English-speaking instructor-accompanist from our team with you
- The program is suitable even for beginners with no horseback riding skills
