About this experience
To get an idea of Flanders, one rich trip to Bruges is enough. That's the kind of mini-trip we've prepared. We've organized everything to the last detail so you don't have to worry about anything. We'll pick you up from the hotel and take you comfortably to Bruges and back. You'll get to know the city, visit a brewery and a chocolate museum, take a boat ride, and have lunch in a restaurant.
What to expect
07:30 - meeting at the hotel and departure to Bruges
11:15-13:15 - arrival in Bruges and a guided walking tour of the city center (1.5-2 hours)
- You'll see the 83-meter Belfry bell tower from the 13th century
- You'll visit the city's market from the 10th century
- You'll visit the Beguinage monastery, founded in the 13th century by Margaret of Constantinople - the countess of Flanders. The Beguines were the first emancipated women in history, widows who united in communities.
13:00-14:15 - lunch at a restaurant
14:15-15:15 - visit to a brewery and tasting of 6 types of local beer
15:15-16:00 - boat tour with audio guide
16:00-16:45 - visit to the chocolate museum with a chocolate making show and tasting
16:30-17:30 - free time in Bruges
17:30-21:30 - departure from the city and return to Paris
