About this experience
Embark on an exciting journey to the sunken island of Kekova! From the boat, you will admire the ruins of the ancient city submerged underwater and learn about its history. During stops, you will swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean bays. Take a stroll through the narrow cozy streets of the Simena peninsula with a fortress on top of the hill and experience Turkish cuisine.
What to expect
Inonu Bay. You can relax on a small beach, swim in the clear sea, and observe fish with a mask. If you're lucky, you may encounter turtles: keep an eye out!
Aquarium Bay. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling - you can already see the seabed from the deck! During this stop, you will enjoy a fresh lunch with appetizers and a main course.
Sunken city of Kekova. One of the main attractions of the Mediterranean. Official stops are prohibited here, but passing by on the boat next to the Lycian civilization heritage, you will see the city's ruins, and the guide will tell its history: who owned it at different times, how it ended up underwater, how the local population lived, and where the entrances to the houses were.
Kalekoy and Simena Fortress. In this village, you will have a free hour to stroll through the charming streets, take photos, have Turkish coffee, and try local goat milk ice cream. We also recommend climbing up to the fortress on the hill and enjoying the views of the sea and mountains!
Tersane Bay. Ships were built here in ancient times. You will go ashore to explore the ruins and swim in the sea with a mask, gazing at the underwater remains of past civilizations.
Chamlık Bay or Yalıcıja Bay. The final stop depends on the weather conditions and the number of other boats on the route. In any case, you will enjoy swimming in the pristine water: surrounded by pines in Chamlık Bay or amidst canyon-like rocks in Yalıcıja Bay.
