What to expect
Si Racha Resort and transfer to Koh Si Chang Island
In just an hour and a half drive from Bangkok, there is the resort town of Si Racha. We will visit a recently opened observation deck and the Dragon Temple on the mountain. Then we will transfer to Koh Si Chang Island on a comfortable high-speed boat. You will find out why it's called the 'corner of China in Thailand', what dialect the islanders speak, and why they are considered the happiest people in the whole Kingdom.
Tuk-tuk ride, sacred temples, and caves
We will take a tuk-tuk ride around the island, handmade by local residents. We will take a funicular to a miraculous monastery, explore ancient caves, see walls covered in golden foil, and a statue of the Monkey God. Then we will visit another mysterious place—an ancient temple where a monk's mummy rests. I will tell you about the living conditions of real hermit monks in Thailand and what their cells look like.
Royal Palace and relaxation on a luxurious beach
You will see a picturesque bay with caves that pirates once used to store treasures. Appreciate the palace-park ensemble of King Rama V, built in the late 19th century. Taste Thai cuisine at a seaside cafe, swim to your heart's content, and relax on a beautiful uncrowded beach.
