About this experience
Fire Valley resembles a mirage that appears in the middle of the Mojave Desert. You will remember for a lifetime its terracotta, soft pink, and purple rocks and canyons, whimsical caves, and colorful stones resembling corals. Learn how this natural paradise was formed and decipher the rock art of ancient Indians.
What to Expect
History and Legends of the Valley
Fire Valley is just an hour's drive from the neon lights, entertainment, and high stakes of Las Vegas. But this is a completely different world: ancient, mysterious, and created by nature itself. I will tell you how this geological wonder appeared, what fantastic mountain formations consist of, and why they change color from wheat-ocher to bright red.
Surreal Landscapes
The main characters of the valley are amazing sculptures of natural origin. These huge and at the same time fragile creations of wind erosion will 'come to life' under the sun's rays and help you feel the power and mystery of the local nature. And the caves and arches, as if styled by an unknown hairdresser, will generate the most incredible associations in your mind. To some travelers, they resemble tree mushrooms, to others - marine plants, to third - butter from under the knife of a grocer.
Wind sculptures and rock drawings
I will show you the most famous wind sculptures in the valley: Rainbow Alley, Atlas, Fire Canyon, Seven Sisters, and Elephant Arch. I will also help decipher the rock drawings in caves created by the Anasazi tribe Indians over 4000 years ago.
