Diving in a Small Group 'Secrets of the Underwater World of Hikkaduwa'
About this experience
Hikkaduwa is considered the diving capital of Sri Lanka. You will explore coral reefs, meet marine inhabitants, and even find a shipwreck that sank nearly a century ago. And if you're lucky, you will see colorful turtles. A Russian-speaking instructor will tell you about the diving rules and will be with you on the underwater excursion.
What to Expect
07:30 - Meet at the hotel and head to the diving center.
08:30 - Arrive at the diving center. Fill out the documents, receive safety instructions. The instructor will explain the basics of diving, answer your questions, and provide necessary equipment.
09:30 - Boat ride to shallow waters with a maximum depth of 2 meters. You will have a trial dive with the instructor.
10:15 - Move to the next dive site. The instructor will give detailed recommendations before the dive and remind you of the procedures. Then you will set off to enjoy the underwater beauty.
13:00 - Return to the diving center to have a shower. Then we will take you back to the hotel.
Organizational Details
- The price includes transfers to and from the hotel, services of a Russian-speaking instructor, equipment rental, two dives
- Lunch is available for an additional fee (optional) - €15
- The program is suitable for both experienced divers and beginners
- Departures are possible from any point in Sri Lanka. In some cases, an extra charge for transfer may apply. Contact me before making the payment for cost calculation.
