About this experience
On the streets of Riga, right in the center of the old town, episodes of the Soviet TV movie about the beloved detective were filmed. Therefore, Baker Street, where Holmes and Watson lived, is located here, as well as many other places of "Victorian London" recognizable from the movie frames. You will try on the images of contemporaries of the legendary detective or even Sherlock himself, take a walk in the heart of Riga, and I will be able to capture you on camera.
What to expect
Following Sherlock Holmes
You will stroll along the Riga's Baker Street and enter the courtyard where the door to the detective's apartment number 221B is hidden - I will tell you what is actually behind it. You will see where Standish's body was found in the "Introductions" series, visit the square where Nikolai Karachentsev's character was exposed in the "Bloody Epitaph" series, and along the way get acquainted with the most iconic places of old Riga - see the Dome Cathedral, Riga Stock Exchange, Freedom Monument, and other interesting landmarks.
Cinematic Photoshoot
Before the walk, in a real costume shop located in the city center, you will dress up in Victorian era costumes and explore the old Riga. I am a professional photographer and will not only tell you about the places related to the TV movie, but also always be able to suggest how to pose better. If we agree in advance, the photo walk will take place not only on the city streets, but also in one of the cozy Riga cafes, the interiors of which are stylized for the era we need. You will be able to immerse yourself in the world of Sherlock Holmes and play to the camera a bit.
