The Emirates is not just skyscrapers, shopping centers, and cities of the future. Our journey will reveal to you another side of the country: its ancient civilization, culture, and foreign landscapes. You will drive through the colorful Sharjah and endless dunes, explore the life of the locals in an oasis amidst the Hajar Mountains, and finally immerse yourself in the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean.
What to expect
Unique Sharjah
Our first stop will be the emirate of Sharjah, which UNESCO has declared the cultural capital of the Arab world twice. From the bus window, you will see a beautiful promenade, admire the combination of authentic and modern architecture, visit the restored Old Town, the Cultural Square, and other landmarks of Sharjah. During the stop, you can capture yourself against the backdrop of this colorful emirate.
From Red Sands to a Mountain Oasis
We will continue our journey to the ocean, marveling at the changing landscapes. First, the road will take us through red sands and endless dunes, where we will definitely make a photo stop. Soon the desert will be replaced by the Hajar Mountains, scorched by the Arabian sun. Incredibly, it is here where our next destination is hidden - a green oasis, where you can not only touch nature but also explore the history of the Emirates. You will stroll along the paths of the oasis, examining the architecture of the pre-oil era, learn about the culture and customs of the local residents, their survival in harsh conditions, methods of growing fruits and vegetables in the desert, and ancient irrigation techniques.
Meeting the Indian Ocean
After overcoming a small serpentine road, we will reach our destination - the ocean coast. It's time to have lunch, relax after the journey, and then devote all the remaining time to ocean therapy. You will have access to the beach and the hotel's pool, where you can unwind and swim. Additionally, we recommend bringing your own snorkel mask or renting one on-site for underwater swimming - believe me, there will be plenty to see in the Indian Ocean!
Organizational Details
- The start time of the tour is approximate and will be specified depending on the hotel where you are staying. If a participant stays far from the route, we suggest they independently take a taxi to the meeting point.
- The tour includes transfers, lunch, a visit to the beach and pool at the oceanfront hotel. Optionally, the rental of a snorkel and mask for diving at the diving center can be paid separately.
- One of our team's guides will accompany you on the way.
