This adventure is designed for those who love active recreation and are ready to jump from the height of waterfalls. The beautiful nature of tropical forests, turquoise lagoons, emerald river, and impressive active entertainment - all this is canyoning on the Kanla-Ob river. You will enjoy island landscapes, fascinating stories about local life, a traditional Filipino market, and lunch by the sea.
What to Expect
Road to Kanla-Ob River
We will meet early in the morning and head south of Cebu Island, passing through many colorful towns and villages. The journey takes four hours, but you will definitely not be bored: along the way, you will learn about the customs and traditions of the Philippines, about the country's history and local holidays. There will be an intermediate stop at a huge market where you will see how pigs are cooked on a spit and learn about the seafood and delicacies preferred by Filipinos.
Endless Lagoons of Waterfalls
You will descend from the mountain to the Kanla-Ob River on foot, by swimming, and with jumps into the turquoise water. You will ride motorcycles up the winding mountain roads, enjoying magnificent views. And then the first challenge awaits you: a jump from a height of 5 meters. At first, this may seem like a scary and dangerous activity, but after the first jump, you will feel exhilaration and will jump from each waterfall with joy, maybe even several times. You will overcome obstacles, admire the tropical forest, and in some places, you can lie on your back and slide down the waterfall like in a water park.
Features of Kawasan Waterfall
After the canyon, you will be greeted by the source of the beautiful Kawasan waterfall. Here you can ride a zipline several times in a row, take photos and videos of all your flying activities. You will also see a local dam and a hydroelectric power station that, thanks to the power of the river, provides electricity to the entire village. As you descend further along the river, you can make another jump from 12 meters at the second level of the Kawasan waterfall, and at the first level, take beautiful photos against the backdrop of the turquoise-emerald water of the waterfall.
After canyoning, you will try traditional Filipino cuisine for lunch by the sea.
Organizational Details
- The journey starts from the city of Cebu or from Mactan Island. We will pick you up at 5 am.
- What is included in the cost of the tour: transfers (Chevrolet Trailblazer/Toyota Hiace); entrance tickets; services of a Filipino guide for canyoning; photos and videos; lunch and drinks.
- Life jackets and helmets are mandatory for your safety (provided on the tour).
- Recommended footwear - water shoes or sneakers. If you don't have them, we will provide a suitable pair of shoes for each participant.
- Bring a USB flash drive to save photos and videos.
- You can jump into the water with a run-up or from a standstill. Jumps range from 2 to 12 meters in height: all are optional.
