About the organizer
My name is Elena. I am an artist and photographer, living on the island with my family for 7 years. I teach drawing at the local school. I know and love Zanzibar and its culture. I have traveled extensively in Africa with exhibitions of my paintings. I have a wealth of experience working with people. I strive to tell my guests interesting and little-known facts about life in Africa, truthfully answer questions, and share my experience.
