When you have lived in 5 countries, you surely know that the essential thing in an unfamiliar city, a country is a Friend, a person who will help you feel like a local and make the most of your journey in the shortest time possible. I have been living in a mysterious city on the shores of the Bosphorus for 10 years, a city that never ceases to amaze, inspire, and reveal itself from new angles every day. My Istanbul is not as depicted in guidebooks - it is as seen by the locals. Enchanting and colorful, luxurious and poor, noisy and savory, diverse and multilingual, accommodating and reluctant to let go - Istanbul.
