About the organizer
Hello! My name is Alena. I live in Italy, specifically in Bergamo, since 2005. I strive to make all excursions individual based on your personal wishes and interests. Each of my guests is unique and special to me. By education, I am an ecologist. By second education, I am an art historian. I try to share my love for nature and art with my traveler guests during the excursions. I have been conducting excursions for more than 10 years; in my free time, I am a volunteer guide at the local museum of Roman excavations. I am a member of the oldest associations in Bergamo related to art, history, and culture, namely 'Lettura & Cultura - Biblioteca Gavazzeni' and 'La Fondazione Adriano Bernareggi - Museo e Tesoro della Cattedrale', which allow me to constantly deepen my knowledge of the region where I have been living for quite a long time, yet I continue to discover something new. I am a student of the famous guide, writer-historian, and TV presenter Alexander Vasiliev, attending his international schools on world art. In my free time, I write stories about Italy and manage a personal blog about Bergamo. My main wish is for you to have only the most pleasant aftertaste after visiting Bergamo. Come and you will definitely fall in love with this unique city, where the promised fairy tale will come true.
