About the organizer
My name is Abdulla, and I am a guide in the United Arab Emirates. I was born and raised in a native Dubai family. For 20 years, I served in the UAE army. But upon retirement, I felt an irresistible urge to share my knowledge about my country and show its most beautiful corners. I will tell you about the most incredible and interesting traditions of the UAE residents, their way of life and daily routines. On my tours, you will learn not only about life in modern conditions but also about the pre-oil era, as I was born in the year when the first oil deposits were discovered in Dubai. I know firsthand about life without air conditioners, TVs, and cars :)
