About this experience
We are heading to the official capital of Malaysia - Putrajaya, a city of advanced traditions and progress. It was built specifically for the government, so its appearance, crafted by leading architects of the world, impresses from the first minutes. Local artistic masterpieces - bridges and mosques, squares and palaces - will amaze even seasoned travelers. And the absence of traffic jams and clean air is yet another reason to linger here a little longer!
What to expect
Just 35 minutes from Kuala Lumpur lies Putrajaya, the most visited and closest city to the capital. This is the new administrative capital of Malaysia, where all ministries and government institutions have been relocated.
Architects and builders have embodied many bold ideas, connecting majestic modern structures with ancient Islamic color. To see this, we will visit:
- Putrajaya Lake - an artificial reservoir with a well-groomed and European-style cozy promenade,
- Seri Wawasan - a futuristic cable-stayed bridge resembling a ship,
- Putra Mosque - the most important urban landmark, combining Malaysian, Persian, and Arab-Islamic elements of decor,
- Perdana Putra office complex - the residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
