About this experience
Every city has its main artery - in Istanbul, it's the mighty Bosphorus strait. A cruise on a tourist boat along it will be a key part of your introduction to the city: you will see minarets of mosques, fortresses, bridges, and palaces, observe seagulls, and enjoy the views. Unravel Istanbul's history and capture hundreds of great photos.
What to Expect
Istanbul's Attractions - a view from the Bosphorus
During a 1.5-hour boat trip on the strait, you will collect a collection of main landmarks and gain a better understanding of the ancient metropolis. Along the water's edge, legendary Galata and Maiden's towers, Suleymaniye Mosque, Rumeli Fortress, and part of the walls of Constantinople will appear. You will admire the jewel-like palaces of Dolmabahce, Cıragan, and Beylerbey, as well as see the Galata and Bosphorus bridges.
What Constantinople-Istanbul Remembers
We will sail from the Golden Horn bay and talk about its role in the history of the Byzantine capital, about trading ships and ancient defense systems on the water. We will recall the daredevil who made the world's first hang gliding flight from the Galata Tower. I will tell the chronicles of each landmark and help you imagine the days when the Ottomans captured Constantinople.
I will be happy to take your vibrant photos at any moment during the cruise!
