About this experience
Bruges resembles a fairy-tale city: 'gingerbread' houses, narrow streets, canals running through the city with elegant bridges thrown over them. Few people here do not want to take pictures of the city and themselves against its wonders. That's why during our walk I will not only show you the main sights and tell interesting stories about Bruges, but also take memorable beautiful photos of your journey.
Itinerary
During the tour, we will walk through the historical part of the city, see the Church of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk), the Hospital of Saint John, the central square and the Belfry Tower (possibly known to you from the movie 'In Bruges'), Van Eyck Square, the former 'hanging' square, the coronated building, the medieval parking lot, and other points of interest. I will show you where the Bruges museums are located and the local 'virtual reality laboratory,' Historium.
I will narrate ancient legends related to the city's history, such as why Bruges has so many well-fed swans or where the derogatory nickname for the city's residents originated.
Along the way, I will take photos of you in the most beautiful spots, and you can revisit our journey whenever you want by looking at memorable pictures from this stunningly photogenic Belgian town.
For an additional fee, visits to the museum near the Church of Our Lady (notable for housing one of the three Michelangelo sculptures that can be seen outside Italy), other museums, visits to local pubs to taste the beer brewed specifically in Bruges are possible.
