Monkey Island is a natural reserve on the southern coast of Hainan, where more than 2000 Guanxi macaques live. They sunbathe, rock in hammocks, and stroll on sandy beaches. You will observe these cute clever animals and learn about their behavior. A cable car with magnificent views will help us get to the island!
What to Expect
Longest Cable Car in China
We will pick you up in a comfortable car and head to the 2138-meter long cable car leading to Monkey Island. You will ride in open cabins with stunning views of coconut palms, sandy beaches, a stilt fishing village, and pearl plantations.
Monkey Island
Monkeys on the island live in a natural wild environment but are not afraid of people. If you wish, you can buy treats on the spot and feed them. Together, we will walk around the island, enjoying its tranquil landscapes and observing the macaques. We will even show you the monkey prison and explain who can end up there and why. We will return to the city by cable car or boat as per your preference.
