About this experience
Travel with a photographer through the 'city of souls' will show Istanbul in a new light. Not a single detail or successful angle will escape us! I will not only help you with posing, but also show the sights of the old city and share interesting stories about the places we will pass by.
What to expect
City decorations
For our photo route, I have chosen the most picturesque and iconic locations. We will walk through the heart of the capital - the old city. Your decorations will be:
- Fashionable Istiklal Avenue, where a bright retro tram runs
- Church of the Holy Trinity - the largest Orthodox church in Istanbul
- Three-story Flower Passage in neoclassical style, complemented by unique stained-glass windows and gilded stucco
- Catholic Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Venetian neo-Gothic style, which will impress you with the elegance of architectural elements
- Galata Tower - a symbol of Istanbul and an embodiment of the Byzantine era. From the Galata observation deck, you will enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Bosphorus.
- Suleymaniye Mosque, keeping the history of Suleiman and Roxelana's love.
Box of secrets
Not only will you get bright photos for memory, but you will also hear stories about different eras and rulers: Ottoman and Byzantine empires, Ataturk and Justinian. I will tell you about the personality of Suleiman the Magnificent and the architect Sinan, and will recall many stories about the monuments that we will come across. While listening to an interesting story, you will walk past the key attractions of Istanbul, Istiklal shops, cafes, and souvenir stalls of the atmospheric passage. And finally, if desired, you can have lunch at the Galata Tower restaurant.
