About this experience
Monceau is nothing like the classic regular parks of France. It will inspire you with winding paths, romantic landscapes, waterfalls, rocks, and 'ancient' statues. And the nearby XVI district will amaze you with elegant mansions and give you an idea of how the French elite lives.
What to Expect
'Little Venice' of Paris
Monceau Park will charm you with mythical landscapes, symbolic installations, an idyllic pond, and a waterfall. I will tell you the history of the park's creation, 'decrypt' the sculptures in it, and help you find and decipher mysterious Masonic symbols. You will also learn which famous Impressionists captured the park on their canvases and which composers strolled along its alleys.
Elegant XVI District
You will enjoy the exquisite architecture of the most expensive area of Paris. Besides Monceau Park, I will show you the world-famous Arc de Triomphe, the cozy Rothschild Garden, the Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky, the Chinese House of Loo, and the Louis XVI Square. I will explain why the French elite prefers to settle in the XVI district and what creates its amazing atmosphere, unlike any other district.
