I will tell you who the Doges were and why they were deprived of power, who were called 'people's Doges' and 'grey cardinals'. Additionally, you will see the 'golden staircase' and learn about the hidden message it contains. You will uncover where secret denunciations were deposited and who reviewed them, where the Venetian archives were created and stored, and who had access to information marked 'top secret'.
Palace of the Doges and Casanova
You will find the hiding place of Casanova, who escaped from prison. You will also hear how he was eventually captured, which book influenced the decision to arrest the great adventurer, what 'black PR' is, and what peculiarities the Venetian justice system had.
