About this experience
During my masterclass, you will not only learn in detail about all the concepts and processes in the art of photography, but also gather top secrets for capturing aesthetic shots. After the theory session, we will head to the lively 'artistic' street of Istiklal to put all the learned knowledge into practice.
What to Expect
Understanding the Camera
The first part of our program is theoretical. We will sit in a cozy cafe and dive into the world of photography for an hour and a half: you will learn about the structure of the camera, understand concepts of aperture, shutter speed, ISO; grasp the importance of mastering the skill of adjusting the focal length, explore what depth of field is, and much more! This will be a comprehensive learning experience with summaries, sketches, diagrams, and thorough work on basic topics.
Putting Theory into Practice
After the lesson, it's time to hit the streets and practice the rules and principles you've learned. You will practice on the famous pedestrian artery of Istanbul, Istiklal. The street is beautiful, vibrant, and very colorful, a real photographer's dream - it's easy to spot an artistic detail for the perfect shot.
During the masterclass, along with gaining knowledge, you will understand what you want from photography and learn about the most popular and convenient lenses. And of course, no more automatic modes in the future; everyone will be able to take impressive photos without blurs after the intensive session.
