A caravan of camels will take you directly to their village: observe the daily life of the locals, try traditional tea, and enjoy the fantastic views of the desert along the way.
What to Expect
Ships of the desert
Rested in Sharm El Sheikh, you should definitely head to the desert to get closer to the camels. Under the guidance of professional herdsmen, these animals are obedient and tame. You can pet and feed them. Be sure: their kind eyes under the shadow of long lashes will charm you!
After the briefing, an unforgettable safari awaits you. You will ride through the sand dunes, discover fantastic landscapes and unusual vegetation, conquer the sand dunes, and take photos against the backdrop of rocks. If you arrive at sunrise, you will witness unreal views of the enchanting desert, and the excursion in the rays of the setting sun will be remembered by a campfire stop, silence, and starry sky.
Bedouin Village
The camel caravan will take you to a Bedouin village, where you will observe the preparation of food, try authentic Arabic tea, and get acquainted with the life of the nomads. You will learn about the role camels played in the lives of Egyptians and Bedouins, what they produced from their hides and wool, what is made from nutritious camel milk, and what these resilient animals symbolize.
Organizational Details
- The best time for the trip is early in the morning to catch the sunrise or after lunch, closer to sunset
- Transfer from your hotel to the safari center will take approximately 15-30 minutes. We will take you in a Toyota Hiace car.
- Children can ride camels independently from the age of 10. Below 10 years old - only together with parents.
- No mandatory additional expenses are provided for. If desired, you can purchase photos from the tour and order a hookah in the Bedouin village for an additional fee by prior arrangement.
