What to Expect
Breathtaking Landscapes and Horseback Journey
You will head to the horse club, where an experienced guide-instructor will tell you everything you need to know before saddling up. You will be provided with a helmet, shown the proper way to mount the horse, given time to get accustomed to the sensations, and then the ride will begin. You will ride past banana plantations and rural houses in the vicinity of the horse club. Feel like a true adventurer, admiring the Taurus Mountains, or Toros Mountains as they are called in Turkish, and the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Side. From ancient times, columns, mosaics, a stone arch, and pools-ponds have been preserved here.
Along the way, we will make several stops to rest and capture the stunning landscapes in photos. Not only will you experience being a rider, but you will also interact with calm and trained horses and be able to ask the guide-instructor any questions.
Who Can Join the Tour
Anyone who wishes can go on the tour: prior horseback riding experience is not essential. Children over 6 years old are allowed on the excursion.
Organizational Details
- The horseback ride itself takes about 3 hours. The rest of the time is allocated for travel and transfers from hotels.
- The group moves organizedly, regardless of the participants' level of preparedness.
- I or another guide from our team will conduct the tour for you.
