Group excursion to Sheikh Zayed Mosque and a stroll in the Louvre in Abu Dhabi
About this experience
On a bus in a group of up to 30 people, you will head to the capital of the UAE. At the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, you will find yourself in fairytale-like white interiors and be impressed by the rich decoration. You will also visit the Louvre of the Arab world: explore its unique dome, discover ancient artifacts, and artistic treasures.
What to expect
Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Its halls accommodate 60,000 people, and the floor is adorned with a giant carpet. Admiring the interiors, domes, minarets, facades, and columns of the mosque, you will be transported into the world of Arabian tales. You will also learn about its world records and the intricacies of its construction.
Self-guided tour of the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Afterwards, you will find a museum complex with waterways and a floating dome made of iron lace awaiting you. You will have time to independently explore the halls of the Louvre Abu Dhabi: paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso, Gauguin, Manet, Magritte, Rembrandt, and other great painters, as well as sculptures and artifacts from numerous civilizations.
At the beginning or end of the program, you will also visit the date market (20-30 minutes). You will be able to taste and purchase dates and Arabic coffee.
